My Personal Statement

I don't believe in platitudes. It's easy to say that I am committed to diversity and tolerance, but I want to get specific:

I welcome you.

I welcome people of all genders, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. No matter who you are, you have a place here. Whether you are from a small town or a large city, whether you're an artist, a coder, a writer, or someone who simply enjoys life—you are welcome.

I value creativity, individuality, and the shared experiences that unite us. Whether you are someone who wants to change the world or someone who just needs a break after a long day, I am glad you’re here.

You may wear whatever makes you feel confident, whether it's a hijab, a kippah, piercings, or tattoos. You may carry a guitar, a sketchbook, or nothing at all—whatever defines you is welcomed with open arms.

Regardless of your political views, I believe in the possibility of coming together and learning from each other. Diversity of thought and experience is not just tolerated, it’s celebrated. Your voice matters, and I want to hear it.

Accessibility is something I deeply care about. No one should feel left behind, and I strive to create a space that is inclusive and welcoming for people with all abilities. I believe that neurodiversity is a strength, not something to be overlooked.

And while I know I won’t always get it right, I am committed to listening and learning. If I make mistakes, I will work hard to make things right. Your feedback is essential, and I want to grow and improve together with you.

To me, you are not just numbers or pageviews. You are real people, with stories, dreams, and creativity that inspire me every day.

Come dream with me.
